On December 17, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Anwar Gargash, the adviser on diplomatic affairs of the President of the United Arab Emirates.
The interlocutors discussed issues of the RA-UAE bilateral political agenda, emphasizing the positive dynamics of relations and the readiness to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The minister emphasized that it is necessary to continue active efforts to achieve more significant results because there is mutual interest, political will, and mutually beneficial perspectives.
In the context of investment promotion, the importance of regular holding of mutual visits and conferences with the participation of business circles was emphasized.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Anwar Gargash exchanged thoughts on regional issues. The head of the RA Foreign Affairs Department presented the RA vision for establishing stability and peace in the South Caucasus, including the opportunities provided by the opening of regional communications.
The interlocutors also touched upon the latest developments in the Middle East.
At the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia congratulated the Advisor to the President of the UAE on being awarded the Medal of Friendship of the Republic of Armenia.
