The RA MFA reported that RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan met with Colombia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs Kandya Obezo Casseres in Portugal as part of the 10th World Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.
During the meeting, Kandya Obezo Casseres congratulated Armenia on being chosen as the host country for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention (COP17) during the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity held in Colombia in October this year.
RA Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to promote international cooperation to overcome environmental challenges. Issues related to the development and expansion of Armenia-Colombia bilateral relations were also addressed.
