The peace treaty negotiations were presented to the President of Poland

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted the delegation led by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is on an official visit to Armenia.

Prime Minister Pashinyan said in his welcoming speech, "Dear Mr. President, I welcome you and your delegation to the Republic of Armenia. I attach great importance to this visit in promoting further development of relations between Armenia and Poland. I think there is great potential for the development of relations, which, unfortunately, I can't say that it's used a lot. Of course, we've had occasions to meet and talk, and I'm glad we'll have the opportunity to continue our conversation. Greetings again. Welcome to you."

In his speech, the President of Poland stated, "Dear Prime Minister, dear attendees, first of all, I am glad that an opportunity was created to conduct my official visit to Armenia. I want to express my deep gratitude to you, Mr. Prime Minister, and the President of Armenia for such an attitude between our peoples and states." Thank you for creating such a friendly and good relationship. Why am I emphasizing this? I have been the president of Poland for 9.5 years, and I must mention that our relationship wasn't good before that. It's essential to me."

The interlocutors emphasized the continuous development and expansion of cooperation in Armenia and Poland's political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. The parties noted the need for consistent steps towards promoting trade and economic ties through visits.

The President of Poland expressed his country's support for expanding relations with the EU and implementing democratic reforms in Armenia. He also welcomed the start of a dialogue with Armenia on visa liberalization.

Prime Minister Pashinyan presented to Andrzej Duda the latest developments in the discussions on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the principal positions of the Armenian side. The Prime Minister emphasized Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda.
