The importance of deepening RA-US bilateral cooperation was emphasized.

On November 14, Ambassador Makunts met with US Senator Roger Wicker (Republican, Mississippi).

The interlocutors discussed the visit of the US Helsinki Commission delegation to Armenia in July 2024, led by the senator, and the latest regional developments. In particular, Ambassador Makunts presented the current situation of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan to Senator Wicker. Both sides emphasized the importance of further developing RA-US bilateral relations and deepening cooperation.
