On November 12, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Sweden's EU Affairs Minister Jessica Rosenkrantz in Stockholm. The interlocutors emphasized with satisfaction the progress recorded toward deepening the RA-EU partnership, which was reflected in various spheres of cooperation and in the draft of the new Partnership agenda currently being negotiated.
RA Foreign Minister emphasized the statement made by Prime Minister Pashinyan in the European Parliament that RA is ready to get closer to the EU as much as the EU deems possible. Minister Mirzoyan also informed the interlocutor about the active discussions among the Armenian society about deepening partnership with the EU. The ministers of Armenia and Sweden agreed to consider new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, initiatives that can further promote the cooperation between Armenia and the EU in different directions.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the interlocutor with the main developments in regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the context of regional security developments.
