The deputy foreign minister confirmed that the RA ambassador was threatened

"According to the information we received, insults and threats were made during the reception," Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said in a briefing with journalists, referring to Politico's publication that the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the EU, Tigran Balayan, made threats against RA Ambassador to the EU.
"We have informed the Belgian side and the European Union about this. And an investigation is taking place on that issue," he said, adding that there is no response yet.
