On November 1, 2024, the tenth meeting of the State Border Demarcation and Border Security Committee between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for the Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held at the border of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

During the meeting, in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulations signed on August 30, 2024, on the joint activities of the aforementioned Commissions, the Parties exchanged notifications on the implementation of domestic procedures necessary for their states' entry into force of the Regulations.

Given that Article 7 of the Regulation provides that it shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the last written notification of the completion of such procedures, the Parties have noted that the said Regulation shall enter into force on November 1, 2024.

The parties exchanged ideas on the issue of the order of the sections/sections of the border for the further implementation of demarcation works.

The parties discussed the drafts of relevant guidelines for implementing demarcation works.

The parties have agreed to coordinate the date and place of the next meeting.

After the commission meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafaev, separately discussed issues related to transport communications, as reported by the RA MFA.
