"We have received the invitation to participate in the COP but have not shown an attitude yet." Mirzoyan
Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan did not rule out participating in the COP-29 to be held in Baku.
"Our participation in COP-29 is not confirmed in any way. We received the invitation; we did not show any official reaction or attitude in this matter. Of course, we do not rule it out either, but we have to understand what it is about," he said.
In this context, he spoke about the return of prisoners held in Azerbaijan. "And in the context of the COP, and outside of it, in the conversation with Azerbaijan and other partners, we constantly discuss the immediate release of prisoners, other detained persons, and other humanitarian issues. You know, there is the issue of missing persons, there is the issue of forced disappearances, etc. This is one of the number one priorities of our ongoing discussion."
