"Armenia can ensure the safety of cargo passing through its territory." Prime Minister
In his speech at the BRICS+ conference, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan mentioned the unblocking of regional communication channels. According to him, Armenia proposed to Azerbaijan to ensure communication with Nakhichevan through simplified border and customs control procedures.
"I would like to emphasize once again that Armenia can fully ensure the safety of goods, vehicles, and people passing through its territory. It is our desire, our obligation, that we guarantee and have guaranteed," he said.
"The claims that Armenia somehow agreed that any third country should ensure the security of communication channels in its sovereign territory, or that something similar is provided in any document, do not correspond to reality," Pashinyan emphasized.
