On November 22, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the RA Security Council, received Michael Carpenter, the US President's Special Assistant and director of European Affairs of the National Security Council.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-American bilateral relations, reflected on implementing the agreements already reached, and outlined ways of further cooperation.
The meeting discussed the extra-regional and regional security situation, and the negotiation process for the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was also discussed. The Secretary of the RA Security Council reaffirmed readiness to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan immediately.
