Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the sustainable peace process in the South Caucasus at a meeting with the heads of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Russian Federation, and Iran, reports Anadolu Agency.
Regional and global issues were also discussed in the report. Erdogan expressed support for efforts to ensure peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Noting that Turkey will continue to support efforts aimed at ensuring stable peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Erdogan emphasized that "the development of events in the region makes it necessary to strengthen cooperation and solidarity and that the transformation of the platform into an institutional structure will make the dialogue mechanism more effective."
