On October 16, Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajyan was received by French Minister of Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu.
During the meeting, the Minister of the Armed Forces of France and the Ambassador of Armenia detailed the progress of defense cooperation between Armenia and France and the prospects of deepening cooperation, including the agenda of RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan's upcoming visit to France.
Ambassador Tolmajyan expressed his gratitude to Minister Lecornu for his principled commitment to strengthening friendship and expanding defense cooperation between Armenia and France and for the steps taken in that direction.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Lecornu awarded Hasmik Tolmajian the "National Defense" gold medal of the Ministry of Defense of France for his significant achievements during diplomatic activity in France and his significant contribution to strengthening Armenian-French relations in defense.
