On October 16, Ambassador Lilit Makunts received Tamara Wittes, President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI). During the meeting, the main directions of the activities of the Armenian office of the National Democratic Institute in the coming years were discussed.
The programs aimed at developing parliamentarian, youth participation, and civil society support, as well as increasing the role of women in politics, were particularly highlighted. The ambassador presented the latest developments in the peace process and the RA's commitment to completing it.
