On October 12-16, the delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly was in Switzerland. The 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union was held in Geneva, during the general discussions of which the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, made a speech, the National Assembly informs.
During his visit to Geneva, Alen Simonyan met with the General Secretary of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Martin Chungong, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and the heads of the delegations of France, Denmark, and India.
Issues related to multilateral agenda topics and inter-parliamentary relations were discussed.
