On October 14, RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan and Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş met in Geneva. During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues regulating Armenian-Turkish relations.
The Speaker of the RA National Assembly presented to the Turkish side the latest developments in peace treaty negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and reaffirmed the Armenian side's readiness to establish peace.
Alen Simonyan also presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project initiated by the Armenian government to his Turkish counterpart. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue contact.
