On October 8, in Berlin, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan participated in a round-table discussion on the "Impact of Climate Change on Crisis Management and Mediation" at the Berlin Climate and Security Forum, organized by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
Referring to the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the deputy foreign minister reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to sign the peace agreement with the already agreed-upon text in the shortest possible time.
In this context, Vahan Kostanyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to building mutual trust between the two countries, evidenced by Armenia's withdrawal of the request to host COP29.
The deputy minister emphasized the priority of human rights and the importance of civil society's involvement in the climate and security dialogue.
In his speech, the deputy minister also touched on other regional issues, stressing the importance of a positive agenda in developing bilateral relations with neighboring countries.
