Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan accused Azerbaijan of delaying signing the peace treaty with Armenia.
He noted at the Warsaw Security Conference. "I don't know why Azerbaijan hesitates to sign the peace agreement. Every time, they put forward new preconditions. We can now sign this document and continue negotiations on other issues. However, in this regard, we do not see political will from the Azerbaijani side."
According to Mirzoyan, Azerbaijan uses the term "Western Azerbaijan," which coincides with almost the entire territory of Armenia. "They assure us that it is not a territorial claim, but the impression is completely the opposite."
