The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Armenia, Claudia Bush, at the residence of the President of the Republic on the National Day of the Federal Republic of Germany.
"I heartily congratulate our friend Germany on the national holiday and wish for continued development and prosperity. Armenia and Germany have a long history of friendship and cooperation based on civilizational, religious, and cultural values," the President of the Republic noted.
In her turn, German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch thanked her for the reception and warm wishes.
During the meeting, issues related to the multilateral cooperation agenda between Armenia and Germany, both bilaterally and within the European Union, were discussed.
Both sides emphasized the start of negotiations on the liberalization of visas.
During the conversation, thoughts were exchanged regarding global processes and developments in the region and Europe.
The parties emphasized the continuity of the necessary steps towards further promoting cooperation between the two countries.
