On September 27, US Ambassador Kvien supported and paid his respects to the Armenians who lost their lives as a result of the decades-long conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"The United States is committed to working with the Government of Armenia to help those who have lost their homes and livelihoods. We reaffirm our firm support for establishing a lasting and dignified peace in the region, which will ensure stability and security," the US Embassy in Armenia said in a statement.
