"Armenian-Cypriot cooperation is aimed at strengthening sovereignty." Papikyan
Defense Minister Suren Papikyan announced they will give a new quality to the military-technical cooperation with Cyprus.
"Cyprus and Armenia are not only good friends but also natural allies. We had meaningful discussions with my colleague on the development of defense cooperation and security issues; we confirmed that Armenia-Cyprus cooperation in the field of defense is at a high level and has been developing dynamically in recent years, but we also have great unused potential, which we will implement shortly. Armenian-Cypriot cooperation is aimed at developing the defense capabilities of both countries, strengthening the security and sovereignty of our countries, contributing to regional and international stability," he said.
Papikyan also emphasized the trilateral cooperation between Armenia, Cyprus, and Greece, noting that it aims to implement the three countries' joint goals and readiness to face challenges.
