The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Switzerland discussed regional security issues

On September 24, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Ignazio Cassis, head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, in New York during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
Regional security issues were at the center of discussions at the meeting.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the South Caucasus, including Armenia's efforts to conclude a peace treaty with Azerbaijan. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the constructive approach based on RA's presentation of the 10th edition of the draft contract and the proposal to sign the contract with that version.
Reference was also made to issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda.
