On September 23, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The joint work aimed at expanding the RA-EU partnership agenda and the existing perspectives was mentioned. "The Republic of Armenia continues democratic reforms. We are actively deepening cooperation with the EU in all directions and greatly appreciate Lithuania's sincere support in this way," the RA Foreign Minister emphasized.
They exchanged ideas on regional developments in the South Caucasus. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of briefly signing the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Armenia's political will in this matter.
