Armenia and Germany discussed issues of the RA-EU agenda

On September 23, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Germany held regular political consultations in Yerevan.

During the consultations, the parties referred to the positive dynamics of bilateral relations development in recent years, active mutual visits, and meetings, stressing that they served as an impetus for deepening the bilateral political dialogue and identifying opportunities for expanding economic cooperation.

The parties emphasized the consistent development and deepening of relations in bilateral and multilateral formats in political, economic, educational, cultural, inter-parliamentary, decentralized, and other spheres. Reference was made to inter-parliamentary cooperation, active contacts, and visits between parliamentarians.

Both sides emphasized the significant trade growth and economic ties between Armenia and Germany in recent years. In this context, the activities of the Armenian-German intergovernmental commission were also mentioned. Several issues of the Armenia-EU partnership agenda were also discussed during the consultations.

The deputy minister presented to his colleague Armenia's vision of establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus and the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the RA government. He also referenced the latest developments in the settlement and delimitation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the signing of a peace treaty.
