Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan hosted the ambassadors of the EU countries at the Margara checkpoint. The chairman of the committee and the ambassadors of the EU countries toured the area of the Margara checkpoint.
The modernization of the checkpoint's infrastructure and border control were presented during the tour.
At the Margara customs point, as in other checkpoints in Armenia, state border control will be carried out using the principle of complex border management with a "one-window" system.
The main directions of customs reforms, including trade facilitation, digitization, and infrastructure modernization, as well as the projects and recorded achievements within the framework of international cooperation, were also presented.
The EU ambassadors, highlighting EU-SRC cooperation and joint efforts, expressed their satisfaction with the work done at the checkpoint.
