The US will continue to support Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation from US Deputy Secretary of State Joshua Huck.

The Prime Minister emphasized the dynamic nature of Armenia-US relations and the importance of the US administration's support in implementing institutional reforms in our country. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the need to implement targeted programs in Armenia with US support, including improving infrastructure.

Joshua Huck emphasized the readiness of the US to continue assistance in promoting democratic reforms in RA. He noted that the expansion of programs and the increase in the volume of funding by the US Agency for International Development are aimed at this goal.

The interlocutors referred to the agreements reached at the Armenia-EU-US high-level meeting held in Brussels in April this year and the implementation process.

Issues related to the discussions on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the RA government's "Crossroads of Peace" project were discussed. In this context, Prime Minister Pashinyan referred to the Armenian side's principled positions and emphasized that Armenia is committed to the peace agenda and ensuring stability in the region.
