Minister of High-tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced that the profit threshold for military industrialists was abolished, encouraging new investments in the field of military industry.
According to his observation, this artificial profit limit has hindered the sector's development for decades. He believes there should not be any restrictions on businesses operating in this area, as the military industry will become one of the most critical segments of the economy.
"This will give us not only a technological advantage for the armed forces, an opportunity to have another developed direction in the structure of the economy, but it will also increase the international weight of Armenia and transform the international image."
The minister answered positively to the question, "Have the armed forces already domestically produced weapons or other means?"
