Secretary of the Council of Ministers: "Military-technical cooperation with Russia has dropped from 96% to 10%"

Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan stated that the main priority of Armenia's foreign policy is diversification, both in the economic and military spheres, so that the problems that occurred during and after the 2021 war can be managed.

He said military-technical cooperation with Russia used to be more than 96%, but it has decreased to less than 10%. According to Grigoryan, there are 3-4 new essential partners in the field of military-technical cooperation. "We aim for 25-30% of the military-technical production to be within Armenia," he said, adding that at the moment, the strategic goal is to have four or five partners with whom the cooperation will not exceed 20%.
