Armenia's vision of achieving peace in the South Caucasus was presented

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Slovakia took place in Bratislava on September 18.

The consultations were conducted on the Armenian side by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, and on the Slovak side by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Marek Eshtok.

The parties discussed the existing relations between Armenia and Slovakia and the prospects of cooperation. Both sides emphasized the need to develop cooperation in the economy, high technologies, culture, tourism, and other fields. Practical cooperation on international platforms and opportunities for mutual support were also mentioned.

The consultations also discussed a number of issues related to the comprehensive and ambitious agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership.

The deputy minister presented to his colleague Armenia's vision of achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the RA government. Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented the latest developments in regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of concluding a peace treaty in the context of regional stability and ensuring long-term peace.
