"CSTO creates threats for the future existence of Armenia." Prime Minister
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the CSTO creates threats to the security of RA.
"We have frozen our membership in the CSTO not only because it does not fulfill its security obligations towards Armenia but also because the CSTO creates threats to Armenia's security, future existence, sovereignty, and statehood," he said.
Referring to the possibility of restoring the activities in the CSTO, he said that the activities will be fully restored only when specific answers are given to the questions raised by Armenia. "Exactly two years have passed since our emphasis. They will not be heard, and as long as these answers are not heard and are not convincing, every minute, every second, Armenia moves further away from the CSTO." According to him, Armenia has not yet passed the point of irreversibility, but there is a high probability that it will pass if this situation continues.
