"We highly appreciate the support of France." Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation of French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Stephane Sejourne.

The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the delegation led by Stephane Sejourne to the Republic of Armenia and emphasized the further development of relations with France, including in the fields of security and economy."Our strategy is as follows: we want to strengthen and strengthen our sovereignty, independence, our statehood, and in this way, of course, we highly value the support of France," said Nikol Pashinyan. The Prime Minister also emphasized France's readiness to support the development of Armenia's relations with the EU.

Stephan Sejourne thanked the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of consistent development of Armenia-France cooperation in the fields of security and economy." France is by Armenia's side and will continue its support to the Armenian people. We have also made every effort to strengthen the relations between our two peoples," the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France noted.

The interlocutors discussed various agenda issues related to Armenia-France relations. Thoughts were exchanged on Armenia-EU cooperation. The parties emphasized the start of the dialogue on visa liberalization and the adoption of the decision to support the Republic of Armenia by the European Peace Fund.

The discussions on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the processes taking place in the region were also mentioned.
