Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly, believes that Azerbaijan is worried because the Armenian government and the armed forces are implementing large-scale programs to increase security by several degrees.
"It is natural that Azerbaijan is worried because it suffered a defeat in the 1990s. Then, in the 2020 war, he recorded success and won, and now they are worried about what will happen. But our task is to increase our security. We are also worried about the acquisition of large-scale weapons by Azerbaijan. If the former authorities of Armenia had been worried, during the 44-day war, our warehouses would have been full; our conscription resource would have been more prepared instead of standing behind a can bottleneck," he said.
