"If the trade with the USA were 80%, I would talk about diversification again"

"For us, the diversification of the economy is a vital necessity, and it is not important how much our country trades with any country." Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said this at a press conference.
"If our country's trade with the USA were 80%, with the rest of the world - 20%, I would talk about diversification again," Papoyan said.
According to him, diversification is a process, so exports and imports are not independent of one place but of many. "In this sense, there are no self-sufficient states in the world."
