On September 10, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh within the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum framework.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that bilateral cooperation between Armenia and India is developing in several areas of mutual interest, expressing readiness to continue joint efforts in further expanding the bilateral agenda.
The possibility of interaction on different platforms and formats was also addressed.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Kirti Vardhan Singh exchanged thoughts on regional issues. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that RA's vision for achieving stability and peace in the South Caucasus is clear; it is based on unconditional respect for the fundamental principles of international law and a firm commitment to ensuring economic development and effective interconnection in the region. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest discussions on concluding a peace treaty with Azerbaijan and the steps to unblock regional channels.
Both sides highlighted the importance of effective economic and transport communications for the stakeholders in general in ensuring regional stability.
