On September 9, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Vice President of the European Commission, Commissioner for Promotion of European Lifestyle Margaritis Schinas. The interlocutors discussed agenda issues of the Armenia-EU partnership.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed his satisfaction with today's start of the RA-EU visa liberalization dialogue, emphasizing its importance both as a political message and as an action aimed at ensuring a tangible result for RA citizens.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Margaritis Skhinas exchanged thoughts on joint efforts to further deepen the RA-EU partnership, effectively implement the "Armenia's Resilience and Growth" program, and implement democratic reforms.
The interlocutors also discussed regional security issues. Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague Armenia's steps to achieve peace in the South Caucasus.
