The visa liberalization dialogue between the EU and RA will start on Monday

According to a statement published by the European Commission, European Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas will visit Yerevan on Monday to start a dialogue on visa liberalization between the EU and Armenia.

At the same time, Armenia should implement reforms in critical areas such as border security, migration, respect for fundamental rights, and freedoms related to travel.

According to the EU's experience with other countries, such negotiations will last several years.

It is also noted that in July, the EU foreign ministers agreed to start negotiations with Armenia on the liberalization of the visa regime.

Radar Armenia learned that Margaritis Schinas is scheduled to meet with President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan. He will also visit YSU, where he will give a speech.
