The USA increased the contribution provided by USAID to Armenia by 130 million dollars, bringing it to 250 million dollars.
"Additional financial allocations are planned to be directed to the institutionalization of efficient and accountable management, civil participation for the sake of democratic consolidation, strengthening of economic governance, increasing the competitiveness of target sectors, improving the sustainable management of natural resources.
The signing of the amendment project will contribute to realizing the main goals set by the agreement, in the directions of effective and accountable governance, maintaining democratic achievements, and overcoming economic challenges," the justifications of the decision state.
