Issues of cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in defense were discussed
After RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan's welcoming ceremony at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the private conversation between the RA and Georgian Defense Ministers started, which continued with the expanded delegations.
During the meeting, the ministers emphasized the activation and expansion of cooperation in military education and the importance of establishing long-term and stable peace in the region.
An agreement was reached to study the possibilities of further expanding bilateral defense cooperation and including new fields through mutual visits of different groups.
The heads of the defense departments of Armenia and Georgia also discussed several other issues related to Armenia-Georgia cooperation in defense and regional security.
