"The moment of peace is now." US State Department to Radar Armenia

The US State Department responded to Radar Armenia's inquiry about peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We were particularly interested in the following question: "Can you point out what theoretical and practical concessions US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller had in mind when announcing serious compromises on both sides?" For example, what can Armenia and Azerbaijan give up?

We also asked how the US government assesses the chances of signing a peace treaty by November and what the main obstacle is that it has not been signed yet.

In response, the US Department of Foreign Affairs stated: "Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to make significant progress in developing a peace agreement, and we are determined to support that process. The time for peace is now."
