Azerbaijan rejected the proposal of the Armenian side for a meeting. MFA
The RA Foreign Ministry commented on the news about the rejection of the meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"The Armenian side proposed to hold a bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan within the framework of the European Political Community Summit in the UK, but the Azerbaijani side rejected the proposal. The offer of the Armenian side is valid.
The Armenian side also reaffirms its proposal to intensify the negotiations at the highest and highest level and to reach the signing of the peace agreement within a month," said the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, the adviser of the Azerbaijani president Hikmet Hajiyev announced that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan refused to meet with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev within the framework of the European Political Community conference held in London.
