"The proposal for negotiations on visa liberalization has not yet been approved." Member of Parliament

The Council of Ministers of the European Union has not yet approved the proposal of the European Commission to start negotiations on visa liberalization with Armenia, as well as the provision of financial support to Armenia from the European Peace Fund. Sona Ghazaryan, a Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly member, said this in a conversation with Radar Armenia.

According to her, the EU Council of Ministers has put these issues on the agenda and will discuss them only next Monday.

"We hope that the Council of Ministers of the European Union will discuss and approve both the proposal of the European Commission to start negotiations on the liberalization of visas with Armenia, as well as the issue of providing financial support to Armenia from the European Peace Fund. We are full of hope, because in any case we receive positive impulses from the EU," said Ghazaryan.
