President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian on his victory in the Islamic Republic of Iran's presidential elections.

Armenia values the consistent strengthening and deepening of age-old friendly ties with Iran based on mutual respect and trust. I am happy to record that Armenia-Iran relations are developing dynamically even today.
I am sure that during your tenure, the cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to expand for the benefit of our brotherly peoples and establish peace and stability in the region.
