The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan and the Head of the Unified Social Service Eduard Petrosyan met with the Minister of Social Security and Labor of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Vytautas Shilinskas, in Vilnius.
Several issues related to expanding the directions of cooperation in the field of work and employment were discussed.
During the conversation, the parties also emphasized the importance of the continuity of cooperation between the Unified Social Service and the Lithuanian agency performing the same functions. In this context, the possibility of signing a joint memorandum was considered.
An agreement was reached to carry out the necessary work on studying the Lithuanian experience of the extrajudicial system of labor disputes and, if required, its implementation in Armenia.
The parties have also agreed to collaborate in information technologies through the "Nork" technology center and the Lithuanian Digitization Services Authority.
