On June 25, deputies of the Armenia-Germany friendship group of the National Assembly met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Tobias Lindner, in Berlin. The deepening of Armenia-Germany bilateral cooperation in political, economic, energy, and a number of other fields was emphasized at the meeting.
The parties discussed the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing Germany's constructive role in this matter. The Armenian MPs presented Tobias Lindner with the "Crossroads of Peace" project and the region's economic development prospects.
Particular reference was made to the development and strengthening of RA-EU relations. The delegation includes Hayk Konjoryan, head of the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly and member of the Armenia-Germany friendship group, and MPs Babken Tunyan, Rustam Bakoyan, Mikayel Tumasyan, and Hripsime Hunanyan.
