On June 18, RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan received Rina Kalyurand, Estonian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia (residence: Tbilisi), who was finishing her diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The head of the parliament thanked the ambassador for his effective work and cooperation and wished him success in his future work.
"Thank you for your invaluable contribution, efforts, and dedication to developing Armenian-Estonian relations. You can always count on Armenia as a country that shares the same value system with Estonia and the EU," said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Rina Kalyurand noted that during the four years of the mission in Armenia, cooperation with partners was at a high level and reaffirmed Estonia's readiness to support Armenia in ongoing reforms and closer relations with the EU.
The interlocutors documented the high level of bilateral relations between Armenia and Estonia, emphasizing the importance of continuous mutual visits.
"I will always be by Armenia's side," the ambassador said.
