Prime Minister Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey

On June 18, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Prime Minister congratulated the President of Turkey on the occasion of Kurban Bayrami (Eid al-Adha), and the President of Turkey congratulated the Prime Minister of Armenia on the coming Vardavar, the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.

President Erdogan expressed his condolences to Prime Minister Pashinyan regarding the recent flood in Armenia's northern regions. The leaders emphasized their political will to settle relations between Armenia and Turkey without any preconditions.

In that context, the leaders emphasized the importance of continuing the meetings of the two countries' special representatives and reaffirmed the agreements reached so far.

The leaders noted with satisfaction the continuous dialogue between high-ranking representatives of Armenia and Turkey. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and the international agenda.
