RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan announced: "For the first time, I saw with my own eyes that we had a border built by our own hands. It's barbed wire, so we'll make it nicer now. Our border guards are standing; the Azerbaijani border guards are standing in front of them, further away, visible through binoculars. Cars are driving; the roads are passable. I passed through the villages and saw that they were building a new bypass road to make it safe for our citizens."
Khachaturyan also said that the most important thing is that people feel the support of the government and that they are not alone.
