Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed UN permanent coordinator in Armenia
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Francoise Jacob, the newly appointed Permanent Coordinator of the United Nations, in Armenia.
Welcoming the guest, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated him on his appointment to this responsible position and expressed hope that, with joint efforts, RA-UN cooperation could be deepened further.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the RA government continuously works toward implementing sustainable development goals and stressed the UN's role in developing sectoral strategies to ensure their alignment with the SDGs.
Thoughts were exchanged on human capital development, particularly on the reforms implemented in education, healthcare, and social security policies and their challenges.
