Alen Simonyan and Christina Quinn discussed the process of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations

On June 10, RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to RA Christina Quinn. The security situation in the South Caucasus, the process of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations, and the issue of the return of Armenian prisoners of war illegally held in Azerbaijan were discussed.
At the core of the conversation were a number of issues related to Armenia-US inter-parliamentary cooperation and bilateral interaction. Reference was made to the reforms related to democracy, freedom of speech, and human rights in Armenia.
An agreement was reached to continue discussions on expanding cooperation during the upcoming mutual visits.
