On May 29, as part of the work of the Schuman Security and Defense Forum, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan had meetings with Charles Freese, the Deputy Secretary General of the EU Economic and Social Affairs Committee, Delphine Pronk, the Chairman of the EU Political and Security Committee, and the managing director of the EU Economic and Social Affairs Committee on Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia, regional cooperation, and OSCE issues, Michael Siebert.
Issues related to Armenia-EU cooperation in the field of defense, as well as regional security, were discussed.
The Minister of Defense presented the course of reforms of the RA Armed Forces.
