The President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Claude Wiseler, gave a speech in the National Assembly. He said that after the deportation of the Armenian population from Nagorno-Karabakh, he turned to the deputies with a heavy heart. "As guarantors of humanitarian values and fundamental rights, we cannot remain indifferent to this suffering," he said.
According to Wiseler, they support peace and stability. "We are determined to stand by you on the way to peace. We want to emphasize our commitment to the Alma Ata Declaration of 1991, by which Armenia and Azerbaijan will mutually recognize each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and this will bring peace and stability to the region."
Wiesler also said that they demanded Baku release the prisoners of war. "Let's make all our efforts to remove obstacles. Therefore, we urgently demand that Baku immediately release all prisoners of war and provide comprehensive information on missing persons. "Justice and humanity demand that these individuals be freed without delay, and it is a demand that the families get the answers they deserve," he said.
